Tomato and Fresh Corn Quiche

This Tomato and Fresh Corn Quiche is a delightful and savory dish that's perfect for brunch or a light dinner. The combination of sweet corn, juicy tomatoes, and cheesy goodness makes it a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pie crust

  • 1 cup fresh corn kernels

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C


Crimp the edges of the pie crust after putting it in the pie dish


Cover the pie crust with the fresh corn kernels and diced tomatoes


Add the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, dried basil, dried oregano, and garlic powder to a bowl and mix them together using a whisk


Put the corn and tomatoes in the pie crust and then pour the egg mix on top of them


Add the chopped cheddar cheese on top


Set the oven to 350F and bake the quiche for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown


Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before cutting it


Enjoy while still warm!
