Bird Nest Brownie Bites

You can celebrate the start of spring with these Bird Nest Brownie Bites. They're cute, chocolatey, and have colorful chocolate eggs on top that look like little nests. As a springtime treat or a get-together with friends, these will go over well.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter


• 1 cup granulated sugar


• 2 large eggs


• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


• 1/3 cup cocoa powder


• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour


• 1/4 teaspoon salt


• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder


• 1 cup chocolate chips


• 1 cup shredded coconut


• Mini candy-coated chocolate eggs for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C

Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini paper liners

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter

Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined

Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the mixture, stirring until smooth

Fold in chocolate chips and shredded coconut

Fill each mini muffin cup with the batter about 2/3 full

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Remove from the oven and gently press a few candy-coated chocolate eggs into the center of each brownie bite to create a 'nest' effect

Allow the brownie bites to cool completely in the muffin tin before removing and serving
